The gameplay is simple, but due to jumps, obstacles and secrets, you quickly get involved and already want to complete the level without mistakes. I liked the responsiveness of the controls and the familiar atmosphere, but in some places I wanted more new mechanics, because some moments seem too familiar. Overall, I got exactly the light and fun gaming experience that I expected from Mario.
