Chameleon Hunt: Hide & Seek is an unusual first-person game that turns the usual game of hide-and-seek into a real test of attention. Instead of regular opponents, the player must track down chameleons that can perfectly blend in with their surroundings. These chameleons take on the appearance of various objects, so the player must carefully examine each room, noticing any details that seem out of place or raise suspicion. Once the target is revealed, the player must quickly aim and fire a precise shot before time runs out.

Each new location offers increasingly difficult challenges. While the initially hidden chameleons can be found relatively quickly, later on they start using much more cunning hiding places, forcing you to re-examine the room, check every corner and compare the surrounding objects. The time limit adds tension, forcing you to make decisions without much thought.

The events take place in a variety of locations, from living rooms and bathrooms to school classrooms, offices, and other detailed environments. The player freely explores the map, looks into hard-to-reach places and tries not to miss a single suspicious detail.
