Granny Resurgence

I decided to launch Granny Resurgence for fun, but in the end I got a much more intense experience than I expected. This is not just another version about the Grandmother — here the house has become more dangerous, there are more enemies, and every wrong move can end in a chase or instant death. From the very first minutes, you feel that the mansion literally lives its own life.

How does the gameplay feel

I find myself in a dark house, where not only my Grandmother herself is waiting for me, but also my grandfather with a shotgun, Slendrina, and even Slendrina's mother in the form of a spider. The atmosphere is immediately oppressive: you listen to every step, try not to touch an unnecessary object and constantly keep the escape route in your head.

The task remains classic — to get out of the mansion. But it's not easy to do this. You have to search for keys, tools and strange objects scattered around the rooms, solve puzzles and at the same time avoid direct collisions. Sometimes it's easier to hide than to fight.

When you have to fight

Unlike the usual versions, here I have the opportunity to fight back. If you are completely pinned down, you can find weapons in the house. But I quickly realized that every attack makes noise and attracts other enemies. That's why the Granny Resurgence mod is more about tactics than action — you think first, then you act.

It becomes especially stressful when several opponents can cross on the same route at once. Then you have to change the plan on the go and look for new ways.

What I remember most

My opinion

It feels like this is a version for those who no longer find an ordinary Grandmother scary. You don't just have to hide here, but constantly plan your route and assess the risks.
