FNaF: Secret of the Mimic is a dark sequel to the cult series about deadly animatronics. This time, I'm playing as a man who has been assigned to pick up a strange exhibit from the mansion of a closeted inventor. Everything goes wrong when a unique model wakes up in the house at night, capable of copying other creatures.

Plot and atmosphere

An abandoned mansion is greeted with silence, clutter and a sense of danger. The deeper I go, the clearer it becomes: there is no ordinary animatronic hunting in the building. Mimic is able to adapt, change its appearance and behavior, which makes it impossible to understand in advance where the enemy is hiding.

Gameplay and survival

As in the classic FNAF parts, attention and reaction are important here. We have to study the environment, monitor the sounds, save resources and look for safe routes. Mimic can disguise itself as other creatures, so every mistake turns into a death trap.
