TPoH: INTRUSION

TPoH: INTRUSION is a story—driven visual novel that serves as a prequel to the story "The Promise of Hope". The game is completely focused on a character named Sasha Sobakin. To others, he seems to be a cheerful, easy-going person and the real soul of the company. However, behind this mask there is a completely different person — anxious, tired and experiencing an internal crisis.

The project shows the hero without the usual image, revealing his feelings, doubts and the pressure that is gradually destroying him from the inside.

The plot

The events of TPoH: INTRUSION unfold about six months before Sasha's mysterious disappearance. The story covers only one summer day, but it is in this short period of time that important details of his life and character are revealed.

The player sees what is happening through the eyes of the hero himself. His risky actions and strange adventures with a dubious friend turn out to be not just entertainment, but an attempt to distract from inner emptiness and worries. The game focuses not on riddles or investigation, but on the psychological portrait of a person who is trying to hide pain behind a smile.

Gameplay

The gameplay is based on the classic rules of visual novels. The player reads the dialogues, watches the events taking place and gradually immerses himself in the atmosphere of the story.

The main focus is on the emotions and inner state of the hero. There are no complicated mechanics or extensive plot choices — the player's task is to live this day with the character and see his experiences from the inside.

Graphics and sound

The visual part is made in a minimalistic style, but it perfectly conveys the mood of what is happening. The characters and small details of the environment help to feel the atmosphere of the story and the state of the main character.

Sound accompaniment plays an important role: music and even moments of silence create a sense of tension and enhance emotional immersion in what is happening.
