Troubles in the New City is an 18+ visual novel that doesn't hesitate to delve into dirty emotions and family issues. It's not about "a happy life from scratch", but about how everything starts to crack when people get to a new city and suddenly lose control.

The trick of the game is that you play as two characters at once: Alice and her daughter Mia. Each has its own line, its own cockroaches and its own temptations. Alice seems to be an adult and "correct," but the new city quickly tests her strength. Mia, on the contrary, gets into everything with her head, not really thinking about the consequences. And that's where the real mess begins.

The gameplay is based on elections, and they really decide. You can stay "within the framework", or you can go downhill and see how everything falls apart. From light flirting to harsh conflicts, the game does not slow down and calmly pushes you into controversial situations.
