Reactor 2: Nuclear Tycoon is an exciting idle simulator with economic elements, where the player must build a successful energy empire. The game starts with the simplest ways to generate energy, such as wind turbines, and the earned funds gradually allow the player to expand production, purchase new facilities, and upgrade existing equipment. The main goal is to provide the city with a stable power supply while continuously improving the efficiency of the entire system.

Each facility produces heat, which is then converted into electricity, so it is important to monitor the temperature of the equipment. If the reactors or generators overheat, they will temporarily stop working, which will negatively impact your revenue. At the same time, the game does not punish you for unsuccessful experiments: mistakes do not destroy your progress, so you can freely test different building layouts and find the most profitable combinations.

Over time, new types of power plants become available, including solar panels, hydroelectric power plants, tidal generators, nuclear reactors, and fusion plants. In the later stages of development, futuristic technologies based on antimatter, black holes, and other unusual energy sources are introduced. The right combination of generators, converters, and cooling systems can significantly increase electricity production, provide resources for a growing city, and transform a small company into a leader in the energy industry.
