Pathological: A visual novel is a fan project based on the "Pestilence" universe that does exactly what the original almost never allowed: it gives the characters a chance to exhale... and see what happened to them after all this meat grinder.

In the original Pathologic, everything revolved around 12 days of survival in a city that is slowly dying from a Sand Ulcer. Every step there was on the edge: food, time, elections, people — everything pressed and broke. And so the fans go and say, "Okay, now let's see what happens next."

After the end of the epidemic, a completely different story begins. The city is no longer in disaster mode, but you can't call it calm. Artemy Burakh and Daniil Dankovsky find themselves in a situation where, instead of survival, there are consequences. The old decisions haven't disappeared, the relationship hasn't reset, and now it's all coming out.

In fact, this is no longer about running for resources, but about people. Dialogues, choices, emotional lines, personal conflicts — and all this in a familiar, but already "empty after the storm" world. Each character has his own perspective on what is happening, and this greatly branches the story.

There are many endings and romantic lines announced here, so the game is more about variation and relationships than about survival. And yes, the volume is not small — this is not a short fanfiction, but a full-fledged visual novel for hours of passage.
