Text or Die

Text or Die is a game where your brain either works fast or you just "drown". The formula is simple: they ask you questions, and you have to give as long and accurate answers as possible, otherwise the water level rises and that's it — hello, defeat.

The main trick of is not just to know the answer, but to give it better than others. The longer the word or phrase, the higher you rise and the more likely you are to survive. If you make a mistake or slow down, the game punishes you quickly, so you won't be able to relax.

There are also problems with tasks: sometimes you have to deal with symbols, letters and all sorts of visual cues in order to understand the correct answer. This adds to the chaos, but in a good way — it prevents you from stupidly clicking on the machine.

Text or Die is great if you want something simple at the start, but with excitement and a little tension. You can hack with friends or randomize and check which of you is really thinking faster, and who is just pretending.
